If you refuse a shipment due to damage, please contact us immediately using the CONTACT US form at KITCHENBATHSINKS.com to report the damage and the refusal. Upon return of the product to our warehouse, we will investigate the potential damage, investigate the reason for the damage, and submit a claim to our warehouse to have a replacement sent to you. Please do not refuse shipments for any reason other than visible damage. Please note, in the event that you refuse a shipment for any reason other than damage, you will be responsible for the original and return shipping cost, as well as a 15% restocking fee for the item you have purchased.DAMAGED ITEMS
Although it is extremely rare, sometimes items do arrive damaged. If your item is being delivered by freight carrier, please note: YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY INSPECT THE PACKAGE FOR POTENTIAL DAMAGE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. While it is normal for cartons to show some wear, if it appears that damage to the item has occurred, write “PRODUCT DAMAGED" on the sheet that the freight company asks you to sign, do not accept the delivery and send notification to us using the CONTACT US form on the KITCHENBATHSINKS.com website. Once we have received the product and contacted the freight company, we will contact you to arrange a replacement shipment. If any pieces or parts are missing from your order, YOU MUST note that on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery, and contact us immediately so that we can assist you.
If damage is not visible upon delivery and it is discovered after the freight company has departed, you must file a concealed damage claim directly with the freight company. Use the CONTACT US form to relay the information to KITCHENBATHSINKS.com in the event we can be of assistance. Please also be sure to keep all the original boxes and packaging until your damage and/or loss claim is resolved. In cases where only part of your item is damaged, we may be able to send out a replacement part, although for some items that may not be possible. In cases where sending out replacement parts is not an option, we will help you file a concealed damage and/or loss claim with the freight company, for full or partial compensation. All damage claims are time sensitive and must be reported no later than 48 hours after the item is received. We regret that we cannot accommodate damage claims that come in more than 48 hours after delivery. Please note, for concealed damage or loss claims, the freight company may or may not award compensation for the damage or loss. If you or your representative has signed for the delivery and accepted it free and clear without noting damage or loss at the time of delivery, the decision to award compensation is up to the discretion of the freight company.
PLEASE NOTE: KITCHENBATHSINKS.com does NOT recommend that you give permission to the freight company to leave your order without your being present to inspect the order for damage and completeness. If you give consent to the freight company to leave your order without your being present to inspect and sign for it, you agree that if you discover any damage or loss after delivery you will pursue a concealed damage and/or loss claim directly with the freight company.
If you receive a damaged item from a UPS or Fedex shipment, simply notify us within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. We will send out a replacement and arrange for the damaged item to be picked up. In some cases, if only a part of the item is damaged, we may send out a replacement part. In cases where the damage can be corrected with a replacement part(s), we will not replace the item itself. We regret that we cannot accommodate damage claims that are filed more than 48 hours after the item has been received. Depending on the item you've ordered and the nature of the damage, damage claims and claims for replacement items can sometimes take several weeks or more to process.CLAIMS FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Our plumbing products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. KITCHENBATHSINKS.com will replace or repair such items that may prove to be defective.
If your item is problematic due to a manufacturer's defect, we can either replace the defective part, or if necessary, the entire unit. We stand behind our products and maintain great relationships with the manufacturers who produce them. If you are having an issue, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve it.
KITCHENBATHSINKS.com does not assume liability for labor charges, removal or reinstallation expenses, freight or postage, injuries, or incidental or consequential damages resulting from a defective product.
Any product problem with results from abuse, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, hard water, proximity to bodies of salt water or accidental damage, are not covered by any warranty set forth.
If you believe the product is defective, use the CONTACT US form to alert us of the issue. If the product is determined to be defective, an RGA form (return goods authorization) will be sent with and RGA number to be filled out and returned to KITCHENBATHSINKS.com for processing. We will issue an RGA and give instructions to ship back the product. Upon reception of the product, a replacement will be shipped to you. If you do not wish to receive a replacement for the defective item, a 15% restocking fee will apply.
Products returned as defective, which are found not to be defective, are subject to a 25% handling charge.
